When working out is so much more than just a fitness class

We are all currently experiencing the effects of global warming with increasing weather variability – flooding rains, storms, droughts and bushfires – as well as an overall increase in global temperatures. Caring for the planet by addressing climate change is critical for all of us. At Miss Fit, we are committed to doing everything we can to minimize our carbon footprint, and hope that in so doing we inspire others to make the little changes in their lives that make a big difference. Being mindful about doing what you can to live sustainably not only helps the planet – it makes you feel good too!

Here are some of the initiatives we have introduced:

  • All paper products used are produced sustainably from sugarcane and bamboo
  • Paper waste is converted to garden mulch
  • All single use plastics have been eliminated from the studios
  • All consumables are recyclable, refillable or reusable
  • Electricity is provided from renewable sources
  • Support for charities that protect endangered australian wildlife
  • Support of local or australian business that operate sustainably

Sustainability is also at the heart of how we care for you. We want to ensure that every class ticks all the boxes for you – value for money, fun, Covidsafe, challenging and satisfying – so that its the highlight of your day! Our boutique fitness classes allow you keep progressing to become your personal best as an athlete, but even more importatnly, you become part of a community that supports each other so that we all succeed. When you feel that commonality of purpose, you realize that you have become part of a much bigger agenda – a community that exists to support each other AND the planet.

Our new term starts from March 7 and we are taking bookings now!

FREE Pracs and FREE eBooks

When you book your term with us you also be able to attend a FREE practice session each week! We have created eBooks for our pole and lyra curriculums to make it much easier for you to learn the names of the many different moves, hangs and balances you will be learning in our structured classes. Download them onto your phone and make the most of your time at the studio. Book your term and we will send you the link so you can download your eBooks for FREE!

Environmentally friendly grip products

Keeping our grip on the poles is always a challenge! We use and recommend aussie made and environmentally friendly products that also give us great grip. Both iTac made from natural beeswax and vegan friendly liquid chalk EnviroGrip tick all the boxes! They can be bought at the studios or from our online Shop.

I cant believe its not marble!

You would swear that the beautiful wall sconces at our Castle Hill studio are marble. They actually made from recycled takeaway food containers and meat trays and powered by energy efficient LEDs! Custom designed for us by the clever team at Defy Design

Extra daytime classes

As many more of us are now working from home (which is also a win for the environment!) this can free you up to get your fitness fix during the day. We have Sling classes, all levels Pole and Aerial Hoop classes scheduled for daytimes. Make the most of your time while the kids are at school!
